3,000 spectators gathered to watch spectacular victory in Edinburgh’s historic old town for Scotland’s first ever Red Bull Hill Chasers event - the UK's only multi-discipline uphill cycling race.

Now in was third year, having previously been held in Bristol and Malaysia, the unique urban event gave over 500 cycling enthusiasts spanning BMX, mountain bike, road cycling and fixed gear disciplines the chance to take part in the adrenaline-charged challenge. I was one of the invited riders so I went straight to evenig finals!

In the first heat I won my lap and set the fastes sprint of the day! Unfortunately in the second heat I broke my cassette out of the gate. Anyway it was great to be in Edinburght to take part in Red Bull Hill Chasers. Congrats winners!
